We’ve been waiting weeks Tribe patiently, thank you for stick through it and continuing to support me with my writing. The Wiz Biz for tomorrow is close!
A pretty quiet day as we sit cash ready, the early drop in markets was latched onto, and the subsequent rotation back up was identified early as well. Additionally, we were able to cash in our BA 0.00%↑ - BA puts that we’ve been riding since 208 in for sizeable gains exiting at 202 and our NKE 0.00%↑ - NKE puts as well.
This is exciting because looking back now, my thesis from 2 weeks ago has followed perfectly for most of September. Even though it sucked to sit through, we did end up experiencing 2 weeks of chop and the market does seem to be now breaking lower. We are really close to a big move, IWM could see a move of up to 12% in October if tomorrow plays out well and the markets concede.
We now draw our attention to one of the most important days in recent history. Market Makers today are trying to scramble the signals of what way they want to take the market post FOMC and VIXPERATION, but it seems pretty clear to your old pal the wiz where things will head.
Without further ado, let’s get into the wiz biz today.
I also take serious pride in this being an affordable educational site. I am adding a veteran discount on top of adding student discounts to subscriptions.
VETERAN DISCOUNTS FOR WIZ SUBSTACK (need a vmail.vet address)
STUDENT DISCOUNTS for WIZ SUBSTACK (need an educational institution address)
If you enjoy the stack, make sure to like this post, restack, retweet, subscribe to the tribe. It goes a long way and I think 95% of those that upgrade will say they’ve seen their trading improve incredibly. But enough of the biz, let’s get down to wiz.
Reflection
"The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing." - Socrates
This quote is a reminder that the search for knowledge is a never-ending journey. There is always more to learn about the world around us and about ourselves. As we learn more, we realize how much we still don't know. This can be humbling, but it is also empowering. It motivates us to continue learning and growing.
I think some easy ways and habits to help stimulate this growth is to remember:
Be open to new ideas and perspectives. Don't be afraid to challenge your own beliefs.
Be willing to admit when you don't know something. Ask questions and seek out knowledge from others.
Be humble. Remember that you are always learning and growing. (no matter how old of a wiz you may be ;) )
