Forward
Welp, all of our timing continues to work out well. (wizness)
If you noticed my coverage on MRNA 0.00%↑ -MRNA this weekend which we then took with calls early in the morning, we rode MRNA up from 104>110 before exiting our calls for over 100% gain in the chat.
Additionally, our rotations out of TSLA 0.00%↑ - TSLA Thurs and META 0.00%↑ - META friday appear to be perfect ticking so far with TSLA popping off open before committing more to the fly and die, and META mostly stalling out.
It has paced well, and is still following Thesis. But now we have Jackson Hole on the horizon with big implications for the market.
So far, from what I’ve observed, fintwit seems committed to a non-existent bounce, not knowing what’s really going on or how the markets have fundamentally shifted. That is fine, we will continue to march forward without them.
Last week was exhausting, I mean we plundered the market extremely hard. Some of the best moves in months, were all captured over that week.
I also take serious pride in this being an affordable educational site. I am adding a veteran discount on top of adding student discounts to subscriptions.
VETERAN DISCOUNTS FOR WIZ SUBSTACK (need a vmail.vet address)
STUDENT DISCOUNTS for WIZ SUBSTACK (need an educational institution address)
If you enjoy the stack, make sure to like this post, restack, retweet, subscribe to the tribe. It goes a long way and I think 95% of those that upgrade will say they’ve seen their trading improve incredibly. But enough of the biz, let’s get down to wiz.
Reflection
My brain for the most part is very foggy on Monday’s and I’ve never really gotten to the bottom of it.
Some days, I feel compelled to spill everything in my head, and it’s normally later in the week, but today, there isn’t too much stimulating the old brain.
Maybe it’s age, maybe it’s avoiding coffee all weekend.
I’m unsure, but I will gladly use this section to work that out. :)
I do have this challenge, try to see the world in more nuance. Challenge yourself to see how ideas interconnect. One of the most brilliant things the book Undercover Economist (in my education page, recommend to people joining) is that there are whole systems and huge worlds that go into delivering you your goods. Stocks drive off of this, you must understand a system holistically and you must understand the bigger picture of stocks and that the companies, their politics and lobbying, and their systems as well as the individuals and their psychology are all heavy drivers of a trade and often if you can identify a pattern early, you can beat everyone to the trade. Like we did this morning with MRNA 0.00%↑ - MRNA.
