Forward
A Tragedy occurred for me this weekend. A very close friend passed away in his home on Saturday from Cancer.
So you will have to excuse my absence, I was swept away from my desk and didn’t end up getting to the earnings post that I wanted to cover this weekend. I appreciate the Tribe’s support and patience, it is hard not to weep for a lost friend, or any loss.
This week is rife with opportunity, however. I will cover in depth today the full earnings landscape. I review about 90% of the Earnings happening from Tuesday to Thursday today.
Also, as I get better at figuring out how Substack works, I figured out how to discount student’s paid subscriptions. If you are a student and following the tribe, I’m now making sure it is even more manageable for those wanting to learn how to control their future. Below button will get you squared away, using your student email.
If you enjoy the stack, make sure to like this post, restack, retweet, subscribe to the tribe. It goes a long way and I think 95% of those that upgrade will say they’ve seen their trading improve incredibly. But enough of the biz, let’s get down to wiz.
Reflection
Fairy tale does not deny the existence of sorrow and failure: the possibility of these is necessary to the joy of deliverance. It denies (in the face of much evidence, if you will) universal final defeat...giving a fleeting glimpse of Joy; Joy beyond the walls of the world, poignant as grief.
Your death blows a strange bugle call, friend, and all is hard
To see plainly or record truly. The new light imposes change,
Re-adjusts all a life-landscape as it thrusts down its probe from the sky,
To create shadows, to reveal waters, to erect hills and deepen glens.
The slant alters. I can’t see the old contours. It’s a larger world
Than I once thought it. I wince, caught in the bleak air that blows on the ridge.
Is it the first sting of the great winter, the world-waning? Or the cold of spring?
A hard question and worth talking a whole night on.
But with whom? Of whom now can I ask guidance? With what friend concerning your death
Is it worth while to exchange thoughts unless—oh unless it were you?
Even a wizard can weep.
Earnings
Yes, I am truly the wiz when it comes to predicting earnings. Read through my tweets and you will see the highest level of accuracy when it comes to the art of the gamble.
RECAP - last week was 100% an IV crush, with puts ultimately reigning initially off the opens
