Forward
This is a really special daily today. It is jam packed with charts, HUT overview, as well as Market Analysis. Take your time getting through this one, there is so much high quality data in here, it will be easy to miss some big things.
I am pleased, however, to watch the continued success of the stock pick em’s. IONQ 0.00%↑ and HUT 0.00%↑ HUT with a +11% day are both beasts, with a surge again in PLTR 0.00%↑
Additionally, the call on the Jefferies space summit that occurred today as sell the news for space stock is appearing to be true with names like ASTS 0.00%↑ ASTS - down about 5% today.
I have some more interesting set ups in the chart fest I dropped into today’s Markets section.
If you enjoy the stack, make sure to like this post, restack, retweet, subscribe to the tribe. It goes a long way and I think 95% of those that upgrade will say they’ve seen their trading improve incredibly. But enough of the biz, let’s get down to wiz.
Reflection
The Tao is a Chinese philosophical concept that can be translated as "the way" or "the path." It is the underlying principle of the universe, and it is said to be the source of all things. The Tao is often described as being natural, effortless, and harmonious.
my interest in Taoism really grew after I listened to the Alan Watts lectures (something I seriously recommend), and it has helped me in terms of guidance for living a more fulfilling life, and changing my mindset on how to view life. I think the thing I appreciate most about Taoism is its emphasis on living in the present moment, and how uniquely it places emphasis on the present in a way so many other philosophies come up short. I have always been a bit of a worrier (I’m sure you heard on the pod how I pace), and I can overly dwell on the future, sometimes about things I really have no control or am even a part of. However, focusing on living in the present moment, I consistently find myself to be much happier and more at peace.
Additionally, its emphasis on simplicity is something I think if you have followed my writing for long enough see how much I emphasize it. Both in teaching the markets, but also in living your life. It also helps in visualizing the concept of Liquidity, I’ve found. But, to summarize: Taoism teaches us to let go of attachment to material possessions, relationships, and our own ego. When we let go of attachment, we can experience true freedom.
Here is a specific example of how Taoism has helped me in my own life:
If you are interested in learning more about Taoism, I would recommend reading the Tao Te Ching, which is the foundational text of Taoism. You can also find many resources online and in libraries.
I also tried to come up with some ways to incorporate the Tao into daily life. I think its something we can all try our hand at, and if you’re able to start working on these things, I believe your self-mastery and handle on life will improve tremendously:
Live in the present moment. The Tao teaches that we should not dwell on the past or worry about the future. Instead, we should focus on living in the present moment and enjoying each experience as it comes.
Be mindful of our thoughts and actions. The Tao teaches that we should be mindful of our thoughts and actions, and that we should strive to live in a way that is in harmony with the natural world.
Let go of attachment. The Tao teaches that we should let go of attachment to material possessions, relationships, and even our own ego. When we let go of attachment, we can experience true freedom.
Be humble. The Tao teaches that we should be humble and aware of our place in the universe. We should not try to control things that are beyond our control, and we should be grateful for the things that we have.
Incorporate the Tao into your daily life, and you may find that you experience more peace, happiness, and fulfillment.
Here are some specific examples of how we can incorporate the Tao into our daily lives:
When we are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, we can take a few deep breaths and remind ourselves to be present in the moment.
When we are making a decision, we can pause and ask ourselves if it is in alignment with the Tao.
When we are interacting with others, we can try to be compassionate and understanding.
When we are working on a project, we can try to let go of attachment to the outcome and simply focus on the process.
