Reflection

This debt ceiling has got me all hot and bothered. I can feel the heat rising up in me because this is the kind of bullshit games I can’t stand. We do the same dance every year and play the same games.

I didn’t even try to write a reflection today I went right to ranting in the markets section about DC.

I’ve grown up in it, and DC, history, politics, and economics are very much a part of my upbringing. There is history in the city and its not just our history, the worlds history is here even in the Roman architecture.

Yet how ironic out of all the places we could have chosen to place our capital, we chose swampland that was not meant to be lived in all year round.

The summers are insufferable pressure of humidity, the winters are freezing and windy because we sit on the water.

The military is everywhere, and everyone works for the federal government, a contractor or is apart of the silicon valley of NOVA.

It is impossible to not have it on your mind, but its your job to breath politics and it requires a lot of time. Why in DC its taboo to speak of politics outside of work.

No mixing of business and pleasure.

But I write this while I’m on the clock so its impossible to avoid. The podcast is out and up.

I also want to highlight all 3 highlighted ER’s yesterday were 15%+ movers with SNOW, NVDA, and AEO.

I won’t get everything right directionally. , but 2 out of 3 keeps me in business. Mantra green is green. Also cut losses quickly and manage to what you can lose. Trading and investing is a marathon not a sprint. If you are putting everything down on one play that is horrible risk management. Don’t be that guy who is leveraging two mortgages.
