Before we jump in, there are new faces in the crowd, so let me start by saying Hi, I’m Merlin. I write this substack to teach my philosophy on trading, I am not here to make decisions for you, but to metaphorically teach you how to fish on your own. My teachings are radical and diverge significantly from how most of the furus and trading services “teach.” I work on conquering and mastering your mind, and then using a data driven approach that focuses on simplifying and drowning out noise so that you can make quick decisions for yourself. As the longstanding members of the tribe will testify, I will take your game to a level never before experienced because of how I focus on breaking the game down into simplicity and ensuring you are the master of yourself and your trading. (There’s a reason they call me the wiz lol.)

Reflection

This is a very short reflection today because I want to spend most of my focus on covering CPI. In Taoism, and Buddhism, there is a thought that emotions can be a hinderance in achieving a state of Nirvana. Why do I go to such things? Because it is as equally important as well as applicable to your own trading. One of the things I have consistently taught is if you wish to master trading, you must first be a master of yourself. No other thing can rule your mind and that includes the emotions that you feel everyday.
