Sometimes it just sort of happens a day late, but the thesis confirmed into valid and correct, as marked by today’s sell off.
Trading as objective as I try to make it still revolves around some imperfections including timing and it has been hard to get the timing exactly right here, but none the less, I’d rather be right overall on eventual direction than wrong and not understand.
This doesn’t mean I’ll be jumping back in to active trading, it’s nice, but I’m at a spot in my career, where I don’t need to trade everyday, or month. My swings were laid down for this set up in TSLA 0.00%↑ - TSLA and ABNB 0.00%↑ - ABNB, and I plan to now just let them make their money.
I wrote on Sunday this might be the last swings and I can call it a year, so far, so good. Hoping that is the truth so that I can focus my talents on the real worthwhile stuff in life like duck watching, carpentry, cooking and meditation. Stuff that feeds my soul.
Writing will still be coming, analysis will still be on par to the normal wiz biz, so no worries there, but I think it’s important I talk about the broader picture. That our lives should not be driven or defined by trading. We learn this mastery so that we don’t have to do it often and can focus on figuring out what is the real meaning behind life and how do we then derive a life worth living. Keep that in mind and don’t ever lose sight of that, because that’s really the end goal in all this.
Remember, your life is a gift. Make the most of it by living it in a way that is meaningful to you.
